Sticker Vault Guide: Choosing a Design, Colour & Size

The Sticker Vault is the broad Sticktopus range: animals, graphics, funny designs, family stickers, symbols, hobbies and the designs that do not need a specialist collection of their own. The easiest way to browse it is to decide where the sticker is going first.

1. Start with the surface

Cut vinyl works best on clean, smooth surfaces such as glass and other suitable non-porous finishes. Cars, windows, laptops and hard bottles all present different amounts of space, curvature and contrast. Measure the area before choosing a design.

2. Browse by theme

If you know the subject you want, use the collection filters or search rather than scrolling through everything. Animal designs, funny graphics, family themes, symbols and hobbies can sit together in the Vault while still being easy to narrow down.

3. Match detail to size

Bold silhouettes can work very well at smaller sizes. Designs with fine lines, small gaps or lots of separate elements benefit from more room. Selected Sticker Vault products include an Extra Small 100mm option, followed by larger sizes up to 250mm. The exact available sizes are shown on each product.

4. Choose colour for contrast

Look at the surface colour in real life. White is a strong choice for dark glass; black suits light surfaces; brighter colours make a design more playful; metallic and holographic finishes add a different effect. The best colour is the one that makes the cut shape readable where you plan to fit it.

5. Remember there is no printed background

Sticker Vault designs are precision-cut vinyl. The visible shape is the vinyl itself rather than a printed image sitting inside a rectangular sticker. Transfer tape keeps separate parts aligned during fitting and is removed after the design is applied.

6. Fit it on a clean, dry surface

Even the right sticker will struggle on wax, grease, dust or heavy texture. Clean first, dry thoroughly and use the transfer tape to position the design carefully.
